Jericho Road hosts recurring and special events throughout the year that bring our Twin Cities neighbors together in fellowship and support. Find details about our regular food distributions and highlights of our annual community events below.

  • Weekly Food & Produce Distributions

    If you’re a neighbor in need of care, we invite you to drop in for crisis care or to receive fresh produce and grocery support.

    Tuesdays 9:30 AM–12:30 PM

    Powderhorn Location

    Mondays 1:30–4:30 PM

    Tuesdays 1:30–4:30 PM

    6:00 AM–10:00 AM (Sign Up)
    10:00 AM–11:30 AM (Produce Distribution)

    *Weekly produce distributions with fresh fruits and vegetables (including milk and protein items when available).

  • Elliot Park Food Distribution and Community Cooking Class (and Lunch!)

    Join us for a food distribution, free cooking class and lunch!

    Learn new recipes using ingredients from our food distributions, enjoy a meal with your neighbors, and receive free hygiene items.

Annual Community Events

These special gatherings take place throughout the year – stay tuned for upcoming dates!

National Night Out (August) – A neighborhood celebration with food, fun, and connection.

Shoe Bus (August) –  Very affordable shoes for kids and adults (currently $6 for adults and $3 for children), with proceeds supporting hunger-relief efforts like Jericho Road Ministries. Over 250 pairs sold last year!

Backpack Distribution (August) – Help students start the school year strong with backpacks and supplies (made possible through partnerships with local churches and businesses).

U of M / Fairview Flu Shot Clinic (November) – Free flu shots for the community.

Thanksgiving Food Distribution (November) – Families receive a turkey and all the trimmings for a full Thanksgiving meal.
